Hello all friends and fans !!!

WE  would like to send out a super huge thank you to all the fans who made it out to Paddy”s last week for our triumphant return to the stage !!! A spectacular night of music and good times !! Lots of dedicated friends and fans made it a night to remember.  Special guest appearances and typical Paddy’s friendly and comfortable pub environment made the early spring appearance a total success.   A special thanks to Eric Money for his stellar vocal performance of the Neil Young classic “Powderfinger’ ! A great time was had by all !!!

We will be performing yet another insane night of rockin merriment at EMERALD’S PUB   304 Rte.22 west,, in Springfield , New Jersey 07081,,(973) 379-3322

Show starts at 9:30pm with the usual meet and greet preshow party starting at around8pm.  This fantastic venue has great food to munch on as well as a hotel for those who really wanna party and not venture home afterwards ,,What a great place to rock !!!!!!  Come on out and dig the great grub, drinks and entertainment of “THE CORE”,,, we will eagerly looking forward to seeing you all once again!!!!!!

RETURN TO PADDY’S

Hello all Chef fans and friends the early spring fever is in full effect and the greatest ensemble of THE CORE will be rocking the house at Paddy”s Bar  at 999 Rosemont ave. in Union New jersey,, The usual preshow meet and greet madness wil get underway at around 8 pm and the show scheduled to begin at 10pm with  music and mayhem going on till the wee hours with the ever growing “CORE” fans as well as the hometown crowd of regulars at Paddy’s !!! The venue is comfortable and the drinks are super so don’t miss this early prespring appearance !!! much fun will be had by all !!!!!!

HELLO and Happy Thanksgiving to all the Chefjimbo friends and fans !!

I hope you are all having an enjoyable day of feast and fun. This simple note also gives me the chance to announce the new  band developments and post some new photos as well as clue everyone in on the upcoming plans for the near future.

As you all know the replacement of previous guitarist Chris was made a few weeks ago and seems to be working out just fine and we are looking forward to many shows in the next few months. The false start of our winter tour was interrupted by the unexpected freak snow storm that occured on the exact first day of our tour schedule !!! Well needless to say we had to cancel and redo all the arrangements for our future dates as well as do a press kit and photo session for the upcoming CD release… We are all feverishly working on the tunes and the loose ends that must be tied up before we begin the shows once again…We all hope you are on board for the next gig which will be posted a.s.a.p….I leave you all with the fondest of holiday wishes and look forward to seeing you at the next

”Here We Go Again” The Core Returns !!!!

Hello out there all Chef fans and friends…Yes It’s been a while and I am truly sorry for the infrequent postings.  The new season has  gotten off to a very rough start with the loss of former guitarist Chris O’Loughlin and then auditions for his replacement were a rough ride to say the least.  Chris has gone off to pursue different musical endeavors and we all wish him well ….

After many failed attempts we have recruited the likes of  Mr. Bob Trewhella ..A seasoned and technical addition to the “Core” line up.  It is our hope to shape this new ensemble into a well oiled and more rockin psychedelic version then the past Core arrangements.  All looks good for the opening date of the new project this Saturday evening  October 29th,2011  at, “” Paddy’s Place “”    999 Rosemont  Ave.  Union N.J. 07083   . As usual the fun and games will start around 10 pm and continue till about 1:30 am.  Of course the preshow meet and greet and  after show lunacy will be the  usual insane  affair.

We will be performing an expanded list of classic rock as well as some original pieces that will hopefully make the upcoming L.P. release this winter season.  We are looking forward to seeing you all there and having a jamming and partying time ….Lets Rock and Roll all Nite !!!!!!,,,,,,,Catch y’all there,,,,,,The Chef !!!!!

THE SUMMER SIZZLE IS ON !!!

HEY CHEF FANS!!!!,

So good to be back after a long hard winter and finally launching the summer 2011 opening performance. !! We have been updating all our systems, personnel and repertoire for the open of the hottest season of rock- n- roll yet!!!

It’s been a long time coming but it will be an incredible lineup and string of shows all starting at the intimate setting of” ROCKY”S  BAR and EATERY”,  @ 710 w. Grand Ave. , Rahway, N.J. 07065…Ph. (732) 574-0044.  We will all be there on Saturday May 14th,2011 . The fun  will begin anytime after 9pm with a meet and greet preshow party where all of you can mingle, and see some old friends from last years lunacy as well as  meet the newest version of the band dubbed ” THE CORE” . Who knows maybe even make a new friend or two or twenty !!!!

Either way a good time will be had by all and surprise guests from the past  are likely to be there to join in on the greatest summers open bash ever!!!!!!

The Chef’s Search Continues

 

Hello all you loyal Chef fans and friends.   Alas the winter months have proven to be most upsetting as well as uneventful for the band. I have suffered many personnel changes and some untimely illness.

Fear not devoted followers,  I am back in the saddle and in high gear with my latest version of the Chef Jimbo Project dubbed,  “The Core”  that is actually looking quite promising as the spring of 2011 edges into view.

The newest line up of musical talents includes,  Super Charged Drummer Nick Nardo,  Bassist extraordinaire Fritz Sammy, long time, friend, and guitar virtuoso Chris O’ Loughlin,  and the newest addition to the family,  Mr. Lou Moll, a tasty as well experienced guitar wiz that has made our quest for new music and new band spirit possible.,,Welcome  Lou !!,, and of course I’m still here plugging along the rough and dusty road  we have come to know as Rock-n- Roll.

OK as usual I will be keeping you updated with all the new developments, spring tour dates and all the mad and crazy antics of the band that just won’t quit,,,,Love ya all ,,,,,ChefJimbo
